The Guaranteed Irish licence is the national symbol of Trust for business in Ireland and plays a pivotal role in differentiating businesses who support and sustain local jobs, contribute to local communities, and are dedicated to Irish Provenance and Sustainability.
Celebrating its 50th year anniversary this year, the Guaranteed Irish symbol has become one of the most recognised symbols in the country with ‘81% consumers agreeing that the Guaranteed Irish brand stands out from other brands in its genuine support for Irish jobs, communities, and circular economy’ (Red C, 2024).
Today, Guaranteed Irish champions +2,000 business members who employ over 120,000 people through integrated communication campaigns, networking opportunities, and media/print advertising. To celebrate 50 years in business, Guaranteed Irish also recently launched a Commemoration Stamp with An Post to mark 50 years working with businesses in Ireland.
To join the Guaranteed Irish community:

- The application form is processed and assessed by an independent Board of Appraisals against the Guaranteed Irish criteria. This is to maintain the trust and integrity of the symbol.
- As a not-for-profit, the annual membership fee is dependent on overall employee numbers.
The criteria include the following:
- The business is registered and trading in the ROI at least 2 years long.
- The business supports and sustains at least one full time employment.
- The business contributes to its local community.
- The business is dedicated to Irish Provenance and Sustainability.
